Two years of collecting, together in one room
Michael had accumulated this collection in just two years. After unpacking it at Wapi, even he was surprised by how much LEGO he had bought. The photo above captures the scale of the collection with Zach sitting in front of the assembled sets.
Michael found Wapi through social media and sent us his list. He then drove over 30 hours from California to our store in West Bend, Wisconsin. We paid him $46,500 for the collection.

Choosing one purchase over individual sales
With a demanding work schedule and a move to Indiana ahead, Michael did not want to spend his available time selling the sets individually. Our published account explains that the proceeds would help with bills and the move.
The video follows the collection arriving at Wapi and the conversation behind the sale. It is a real example of a seller choosing a single collection purchase to turn a substantial LEGO collection into funds for the next stage of life.
