Selling a portion of a long-built collection
Jeffrey drove from Ohio with about a third of his LEGO collection. This purchase focused on retired sets from roughly 15–20 years before the original post, giving us a chance to buy collector favorites that do not arrive every day.
We paid Jeffrey $40,000 for the portion he chose to sell. The rest of his collection stayed with him.
You can decide what to keep
Our original reel shows the collection and the excitement around the sets Jeffrey brought. It also makes clear that this was a partial sale, with no obligation for him to sell the rest.
If you are considering selling only part of your collection, tell us which items you want included. Jeffrey’s purchase is one example of agreeing on a defined selection while keeping the pieces you are not ready to part with.
